  As a career pro musician in a very difficult market, getting gear or advice in Cairns has been at least challenging and at worst dauntingly expensive. In the past, I found going to this store to be an adventure where I felt like I was being assessed in every way by suspicious staff who questioned my worthiness to enter. It seems that times have changed. I'm happy to report that my most recent experiences with Buzz are entirely positive and I am enjoying my most recent purchase, a special order item, which was delivered at a price-match point that eliminated the need to buy online. Shipping times for special orders continue to be the biggest variable; staff told me that my order would take a few days when in fact it took a week but the point is that Buzz in now "open for business" and willing to be part of a service to the music community. The service I received was given cheerfully without the dose of attitude I used to experience every time I walked in the door. Thank you Buzz. You've earned a second chance.

  Was in the store on my lunch break checking out some new gear and the staff are all fantastic. Everyone was really polite and friendly as well as knowledgeable about the products and always happy to help. From beginners to experienced musicians I couldn't recommend this place more. Not to mention a really great range and seriously good prices on all the gear.

  I've visited twice lately, as my son has started to learn guitar. We went in to look at an acoustic for him and the exceptionally friendly staff and thier obvious love of music convinced me to jump back in myself so we left with an amp for my old electric and an acoustic picked out for my son.
